Fluid Snags Two Finalist Awards in the 2006 Flashforward Film Festival

Prestigious competition recognizes Fluid's Configurator technology, in use by Timberland and Reebok

San Francisco, CA. January 17, 2005 . Fluid Inc., a leading provider of innovative online retail solutions, was named a finalist in two categories in the prestigious 2006 Flashforward Film Festival, the company announced today. The awards "showcase and celebrate the best work on the Web."

The awards are for Fluid.s Configurator, announced earlier this week (see press release at www.fluid.com), a customization technology which enables branded manufacturers including Timberland and Reebok to offer personalized merchandize to improve customers. online shopping experience and convert more shoppers to buyers. The Configurator has already proven its ability to increase overall web site conversion rates by as much as 100 percent while nearly tripling conversion rates for customized products, compared to previous-generation configurator technologies. Rather than relying on a server to perform colorization and other customized functions, the Configurator performs these tasks on the client - delivering results in milliseconds for a seamless customer experience.

The largest, longest-running international Flash film festival in the world, the Flashforward Film Festival is an online competition and live awards ceremony showcasing and celebrating the best Flash work on the Web. Winners will be announced March 1, 2006 at the Flashforward 2006 Conference in Seattle, Washington.
